Plantique Naturals

Application

Aromatherapy

Diffusion, massage & clinical aromatherapy.

Overview

Clinical aromatherapy follows published dermal-maximum guidance for topical use. The percentages below refer to dilution in a carrier oil (jojoba, sweet almond, MCT) for adult topical use — halve them for children and elderly, and quarter for facial applications. Diffusion is dose-independent — 3–8 drops in a 100 ml diffuser is standard regardless of oil.

How it's used

  • Massage blend: essential oil % in carrier oil (jojoba, sweet almond).
  • Bath: 5–10 drops emulsified in a dispersant (polysorbate-20, milk, honey) before adding to water.
  • Diffusion: 3–8 drops per 100 ml water in an ultrasonic diffuser.
  • Steam inhalation: 2–4 drops in a bowl of hot water.
