Sustainability & Sourcing Practices
Botanical ingredients are only as good as the soil, the season and the hands that harvest them. We build our supply chain around that fact — with direct farm partnerships, region-appropriate crops and traceable, documented batches from origin to shipped drum.
Direct Farm Partnerships
We work directly with farmer collectives and consolidators in the growing regions rather than trading through spot markets. Direct relationships give us line-of-sight on crop conditions, price fairness and quality at source.
Sustainable Harvesting
Harvest windows are timed to the crop — jasmine at dawn, cardamom at full maturity, ginger after adequate rhizome development — so we get peak actives without stressing the plant or the soil.
Native, Regional Species
Every ingredient in our catalogue is a species that is native or long-naturalised to the Indian region where we source it. That keeps water demand, chemical inputs and transport low.
Circular Processing
Spent biomass from distillation and extraction is returned to farms as mulch or composted on-site. Solvent recovery loops on our extraction lines minimise volatile loss and waste.
Origins
Where our ingredients come from.
Six growing regions across India — each chosen for a specific crop and its local growing tradition.
- Lemongrass
- Cardamom
- Ginger
- Clove
- Black Pepper
The western coastal belt — high rainfall, mineral-rich soils. Home base for our aromatic-oil supply.
- Cardamom
High-altitude estates along the Western Ghats. Cardamom of premium size and volatile-oil content.
- Clove
- Jasmine Sambac
- Jasmine Grandiflora
- Tuberose
Kanyakumari for clove; the Madurai belt for hand-picked jasmine and tuberose harvested at dawn.
- Cypriol (Nagarmotha)
Central India's alluvial river beds — the traditional home of Cyperus scariosus roots.
- Peppermint
The Terai belt produces the world's largest peppermint crop. We source from established distiller cooperatives here.
- Babchi (for Bakuchiol)
Traditional Psoralea corylifolia belt. Wild-collected and small-farm seed lots, cleaned and dried before extraction.
Traceability
From origin to drum, documented.
Every batch we ship carries a documented chain — the source region, the harvest window, the extraction run and the GC-MS fingerprint. Buyers can trace any drum back to its lot and forward to its Certificate of Analysis.

Nature, treated as a partner — not an input.
We can only ship consistent ingredients if our farm partners can plant the next season. Fair pricing, honest specs and the long view are how we've built this business — and how we intend to keep building it.
